Q. SHOULD YOU REPAIR OR REPLACE A HOUSEHOLD APPLIANCE?

A. A broken appliance in a house leads to one of two choices. You can either call for professional appliance repair in an attempt to save a little money and continue using the old oven, refrigerator, dishwasher or washing machine or dryer or replace the broken appliance with a new unit.

Home appliances have an expected lifetime. If the broken appliance is in the beginning or middle part of that average lifetime, we recommend scheduling our appliance repair service. If the appliance is nearing the end of its expected lifetime, we would then recommend to replace it with a new one if you have a budget for it.

Here are the expected lifetimes of all types of home appliances:

Washer: 11 years
Dryer: 14 years

Q. WILL YOU OFFER A GUARANTEE OR WARRANTY?

A. Definitely. Our appliance repair service includes a warranty on manufacturer replacement parts and our labor. We use manufacturer parts for GE, LG, Frigidaire, Kenmore, KitchenAid, Sub-Zero, Amana, Wolf, Whirlpool and all other popular appliance brands so we preserve the manufacturer’s warranty. Please do not hesitate to call us at anytime following our service if any issues return with your appliance.

Q. CAN YOU REPAIR MY BROKEN APPLIANCE DURING THE INITIAL TRIP?

A. Most of the time. We fill our service vans with 90% of the most common manufacturer replacement parts and the necessary tools to complete our repair service. In the event we do need to come back at a later date to complete a repair, there won’t be an extra service cost. We estimate that we are able to complete over 90% of appliance repair appointments during the first trip.

Q. WILL YOU NOTIFY ME WHEN YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY?

A. Yes. We will provide a 2-3 hour window for the technician to be at your home or apartment. We understand how important our customer’s time is so we do our best to arrive during the early portion of the timeframe. That said, if a previous appointment or repair goes longer than we thought it would, this timeframe allows our repairman a little time to still arrive on schedule within the service window. We call 15-20 minutes before their arrival for notice.
